Dr. Emily Tepper is a licensed and Nationally Board Certified (NCCAOM) Doctor of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine. She is also a certified Craniosacral Therapist, Japanese Clinical Herbalist, and Labor Support Doula.
Emily is a second-generation Physician. She prescribes Kampo herbal medicine to her patients, as well as creates nutritional plans for patients that come from the Kashmiri wazwan. Kampo is an empirically proven range of pharmaceutical-grade Japanese herbal formulas. While studying both Kampo and Kashmiri wazwan, Emily connected quite a bit of overlap and has made connections into a deeper practice of Kashmiri Medicine.
As a licensed acupuncturist and labor support Doula, Dr. Tepper completed residencies with Central Park Midwifery, Downtown Women OB/GYN, and MamaBaby Haiti.
I practice 5 Element Acupuncture, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Japanese (Kiiko Matsumoto) Style Acupuncture, and have advanced training in Trigger Point Therapy and Pain Management.
